Sapientia Publishing House Accreditation
Between October and December 2020, through its Humanities Committee, the National Council for Scientific Research (CNCS), an advisory body of the Ministry of Education and Research, evaluated scholarly journals and publishing houses from Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
Following the evaluation, Sapientia Publishing House and the journal Dialog Teologic of the Roman Catholic Theological Institute “Saint Joseph” in Iași were classified in Category B in the field of Theology. Category B for journals and publishing houses means that they have a significant impact in their field, with considerable visibility especially at national level, as well as clear potential for international development. Inclusion in Category B requires at least 75 points. The classification is valid for four years. This classification is valid for the following four years: January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2024.

On this occasion, I would like to thank all the members of the Editorial Board, the Reviewers’ Committee, the authors of books and articles, as well as the collaborators from MTS — Media Trust Sapientia — who each contributed, through their own talent, to achieving this performance.
CNCS has completed the 2012 evaluation of Romanian scholarly publishing houses in the fields of Arts and Humanities.
On this occasion, Sapientia Publishing House confirms its ranking among the leading Romanian publishing houses in the humanities by obtaining Category B in the field entitled “Theology”: PN-II-ACRED-ED-2012-0286.
